Kate Sheppard was a New Zealand activist, and one of the most 

important figures in our history. 

She was a leader in the struggle to make New Zealand the first country in the world to grant women the right to vote.

He has often been described as the foremost Māori politician to have ever served in Parliament, and is also known for his work in protecting Māori culture and language.but i don’t know what he did to sharpen the way we live today only to maori people do he was protected us from things and the language but besides from that i don’t know.Even though i don’t know much about sir apirana ngata you gotta love the man .Yours sincerely Rylan
